“Agape” (爱的独白) is the first solo single for Zhang Liyin after a five-year hiatus. The song is co-written by Liyin and Taiwanese lyricist Tina Wang. It is based on a real life story of a young child who survived the devastating Sichuan earthquake back in 2008 because he was protected by his mother’s arms.
The music video follows a similar story. Starring f(x) member Victoria Song, EXO member Tao, and actor Song Jaerim, the music video depicts the love between a mother and son throughout the son’s troubled life.
