Zhang Liyin to guest on MBC’s Idols True Colors
After a long break, Zhang Liyin came back (broke the silence) gorgeously through SM The Ballad promotions. Through Idols True Colours official Weibo, Zhang Liyin received absolute support from China fans.
Zhang Liyin was especially comfortable on Idols True Colors as she was able to greet fans in her mother language, Chinese, addressing the fans with ‘Hi friends’ and so on. She carried a familiar/warm and happy image through the start to the end of the recording. Especially when she revealed one of her special hobbies she does whenever she has free time is space research and so on. She also showed us the cute side and off the wall charm that you will not get to see normally.
Carrying the name of being the first Chinese female singer to debut in Korea, there were times she felt the name is too heavy on her (burden and stressful). Her mother currently residing at China made a surprise phone call to the show, “She left at a young age all by herself to a foreign country, my heart always hurt for her for the times she spent alone.” Liyin cried after her mum’s words and said sincerely, “I got the chance to learn many precious stuff here in Korea.” And “I hope to repay my parents.”
The Chinese version of Immortal Song broadcasted recently. Through the broadcast, Zhang Liyin became the huge topic with her melodious and singing ability that touches hearts. At Idols True Colors, Zhang Liyin presented her raw passionate and touching live singing.
Zhang Liyin showcased the Chinese version of “Set Me Free” included in SM The Ballad album that many fans hope to listen, as well as earning the claps and cheers from the DJs and Production Crew with her remarkable and powerful singing with Beyonce’s “Listen”.
You will be able to see Zhang Liyin’s true and charming character on Idols True Colors this Saturday, March 29th, available on China’s portal site Youku or through YouTube. For people in the country (Korea), there is a plan to broadcast it on MBC’s Cable Music Channel.
