General

01. No bashing.
→ No racist comments. No destructive criticism.
→ This includes bashing other members' fandoms or other artists in general.
→ If you have a problem with another member, PM a moderator.
→ There is a zero tolerence policy for members who join just to bash Liyin. Homegirl is homegirl. The member will be banned immediately.

02. No spamming.
→ There is a 25 character limit per post, but half your post shouldn't be full of smileys.
→ Please give at least 48 hours until your previous post before double posting.

03. Explicit materials are not permitted.
→ Disturbing and/or sexually explicit pictures, posts and topics will be removed right away.
→ The minor exception would be R-rated fanfiction in the fanfiction section, which must be clearly labeled. NC17 fanfics are not allowed at Chocolyn.
→ For more information about fanfic ratings, see more detailed rules in the Fanfiction section.
→ The swear filter is not turned on for the sake of fanfic writers. If there is excessive swearing, we will hand out warnings.

04. No quoting images or embedded videos!
→ Please remove the [IMG], [YOUTUBE] or [TUDOU] BBCodes when quoting posts.

05. English is the only language permitted at Chocolyn.
→ At the moment, there is no subsection for foreign chat on Chocolyn.
→ As Chocolyn grows bigger, we will consider opening a foreign language section for members. As for now, please use the Member's Zone for foreign language posts.

06. No soliciting!
→ We do not want to see any Linkbucks, Webgains or any similar money-making links at Chocolyn.
→ The main exception, of course, are Chocolyn's own Webgains links to YesAsia.

07. Credit is required!
→ All translated works must be properly credited if they are taken out of Chocolyn, whether they are news articles or simple event translations.
→ The translator's name, as well as a direct link to the topic, must be included when crediting.

Avatar & Signature

Avatar
→ 100px 100px.
→ Any user using explicit avatars will be given warnings.

Signature
→ Maximum 2 images.
→ Maximum 4 lines of text.
→ Maximum image size is 400x150px.
→ Maximum image file size is 100kb each. Maximum image file size altogether would be 200kb.

Warnings

If you get warned...
After a month, if you would like your warning removed, please go to the moderator who gave you that warning and ask her to remove it. It is not the moderator's responsibility to remember to remove it for you. You will have to PM them and ask.

Warning Stages
Shoutbox → 3rd warning, 7-day ban; 4th warning, banned permanently.
Forums → 100% warned, 15-day ban; after 15-day ban, banned permanently.
